Volunteers Experience

HI Petronas Scholars!

I hope all of you are doing well in your studies and stay safe wherever you are.   

Last year, I took part in Discover Petronas @ School (DPS) Outreach and Carnival program as one of the volunteers. I had an amazing time interacting with more than 400 students and shared my experience as Petronas Scholar during my undergraduate studies.

To me, sharing experiences is like sharing a story from your point of view. You can talk about your school culture and give a glimpse into your university lifestyle. This provides an opportunity for them to learn or take something from your experiences.

Of course, they can take whatever they want from your story. They can choose what to act upon. And if they are curios, they will ask more questions. As we all learn from the stories of others, what you think is a minor aspect of your story might just be the pearl of wisdom they needed to make the next move (or maybe even inspire them to be a Petronas Scholar!). Yes, your story can do that.
