In line with the requirement of Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and for the purposes of good governance in PETRONAS’ practices relating to the collection, use, process and storage of your personal information as sponsored students of PETRONAS, parents/guardians and guarantors, this Memorandum is circulated to bring to your attention and help you make an informed decision about sharing your personal information with PETRONAS.  

3. Please read the Privacy Notice carefully to understand the content and PETRONAS’ practices regarding your personal information. Unless otherwise informed to us, you are deemed to have provided your consent for PETRONAS to collect, use, process and store your personal information (which also includes your sensitive personal information).  

4. Kindly be informed that the accuracy of your personal data depends to a large extent on the information you provide. Therefore, kindly inform PETRONAS as and when your personal data as provided earlier becomes incorrect or out-of-date. 

5. Please be informed that your disagreement to provide consent may result in PETRONAS being unable to collect, use, process and store your personal information for sponsorship, student management and development including interventions and activities that you may benefit from under the education sponsorship arrangement.
