1. How do I request for semester extension?

Student should complete their degree as per agreed duration in the Sponsorship Agreement. However, if student require an extension of your study please  write to the Executive - Student Services on your justification. It will be subject to PETRONAS approval.

 

2. If we were to apply for a transfer program or summer school in overseas, will PETRONAS support us financially?

If yes, are there any requirements that we must meet for us to be able to receive full support from PETRONAS for those programs?

PETRONAS may consider to approve students to participate in transfer/exchange program subject to the following :

- Academic performance

- Program relevance to core discipline

- Study duration is not affected

- No additional cost

- Beneficial to student and PETRONAS

 

3. How to apply for deferment during studies due to medical reason?

Please write to the Executive (Student Services) on your justification. It will be subject to PETRONAS approval.

 

4. For Pre-University, what should I do if do not meet PETRONAS requirement?

Failure to meet PETRONAS requirements may lead to termination of sponsorship.

 

5. If I am selected to represent my NGO / Associations to participate in any events, can I proceed?

Please consult your respective Executive (Student Services) for further advise.

 

6. I failed my study, what should I do?

Failure to meet PETRONAS requirement may lead to termination of sponsorship.

 

7. Can I do any part time job during my study?

As stated in Sponsorship Agreement under clause 5.6, students are not allowed to work during their study.

 

8. What if I do not meet PETRONAS academic requirement?

Your will receive Consequence Management letter from PETRONAS that serves as a warning to improve your academic performance. Refer to question 3 under academic result category for the cut-off of academic performance.
